SCHOOL RULES

Rules of Conduct

at Ashraf and Anna Music School

1. All students are expected to maintain a high level of behavior both inside and outside of Ashraf and Anna Music School.

2. Students must always be punctual for music lessons. We recommend arriving 10 minutes before the lesson starts. Upon arrival, they should knock on the music room door and enter.

3. Students should always come well-prepared for music lessons with a copy of the sheet music and completed homework. They should also bring a notebook for music notes, a pencil, a pen, an eraser, and a communication notebook for discussions with parents regarding progress when necessary, as well as for recording what needs to be practiced before the next lesson.

4. We ask our students to always show politeness, kindness, and respect towards their teachers and peers. They should avoid behavior that may threaten the dignity of others or tarnish their reputation.

5. The school maintains a no-smoking policy, and we kindly ask that food, drinks, and chewing gum not be brought onto the premises.

6. Alcohol, drugs, and any prohibited substances are strictly forbidden and may not be brought onto the premises of the music school under any circumstances. Any violation of this rule will result in serious consequences, and parents will be notified immediately.

7. Students must respect all property of the music school and must never bring food into the premises. Damaging property by writing or scratching instruments, furniture, walls, etc., or by vandalizing any part of the music school premises is considered a serious offense, and students will be held responsible for repairing the damage.
8. For the safety and comfort of the educational process, entry to the school building is permitted only for students and staff. We kindly ask you to drop off your children at the entrance and pick them up at the designated time.

9. Parents’ presence during lessons is not permitted. This policy promotes the development of independence in children, creates a comfortable learning environment, and ensures compliance with sanitary regulations.

10. Students can enjoy learning music at their own pace or follow the Royal Irish Academy of Music program with the option to take exams. The exams include both theoretical and practical performance components and require an additional fee.
